HAFLINGERS IN ACTION

Haflingers are extermely versatile, and make excellent family ponies, carrying both adults and children happily. They are extremely obliging and will compete with considerable skill in most forms of equestrian activity. Whatever you want your Haflinger to do, its desire to please with a placid temperament make it ideal for a wide range of activities.

Driving comes naturally to them due to their working inheritance. In driving they compete at most levels both in driving trials and show presentation.

The well schooled Haflinger can compete sucessfully in dressage, ridden classes and musical rides.

They are sensible and skilled jumpers able to compete at show jumping, working hunter pony and cross country events.

For family fun they are adept at handy pony, gymkhana, fancy dress and the like.

Haflingers are very popular for trekking and general hacking everywhere, and often can be seen competing in endurance events.
