COOMBE WOOD STRAHL

Strahl gained his place in the Lifetime Ridden Performance Awards by gaining:-
Category 1 - a win in Ridden class.
Category 2 – a win in Working Hunter Pony. 
Category 3 - two wins in Side Saddle.
Strahl ‘s sire Strudl was one of the first stallions to be imported into Britain.  His dam Schon produced four sons who became stallions.  Including his full brother Coombe Wood Stumper who was exported to France. 

Strahl's Story

Strahl is a champion in his own right.  Over the years Strahl has been champion at most county shows and many of them more than once.  At the Breed Show he has been Ridden Champion, Driven Champion and Veteran Champion.  He is the only stallion (I think) that has been Young Rider Champion twice, with two different riders.  Strahl continues to fly the flag at the Mosscarr stud and is still standing his own in the show ring.
Strahl has taken part in musical displays, both side saddle and astride.  He has over his lifetime been successfully shown in driving, ridden and in hand classes.
