OXNEAD ALOE

Alfie gained his place in the Lifetime Ridden Performance Awards by gaining:-
Category 1 - a win in a dressage class.
Category 2 – a win in Working Hunter Pony. 
Category 3 – two wins in gymkhana.
Alfie‘s Dam Honesty is a daughter of Alpine, her dam Heidi is a daughter of Hermi imported in 1968.  His Sire Allahies has been Champion and Supreme Champion in hand at many Breed Shows.

Alfie’s story

Alfie was everything I didn’t want.  He was too young, too inexperienced, too big and a gelding.  Despite all this, he now seems perfect for me.
Alfie is an extremely sweet natured horse, who loves people and attention.  For the time I’ve had him, he has shown himself to be a natural and enthusiastic jumper, and has developed a love of gymkana, coming first in both gymkana and gymkana team in the 2008 breed show.
Alfie is very good at dressage, much to the help of his excellent training and upbringing by Kim Ginns, and can, when he wants to, perform to a high standard.
He can occasionally be a bit of a cheeky chappy, escaping from his enclosure, or refusing to be caught being but two examples, and I will never be able to stop him from rubbing his tail to pieces. Alfie is a great ride and great fun.  He is loyal, loving and is willing to try new things.  He has done extremely well in the 2008 breed show and will hopefully carry on improving and succeeding in the future.
